Decatur Quilters Guild Fabric Sale February 25

     The Decatur Quilters Guild Annual Sale, “Sew Much to Sell” will be Wednesday, February 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church, 3770 N. Water St., Decatur.

     Sale items include fabric, yardage to scraps, cottons and batiks, wool and felts, kits, panels and more.  Sewing supplies and equipment will be on sale as well as Quilting supplies and Crafting Supplies, embroidery, trim, crochet and knitting supplies included.   There are newer donated books and patterns as well as thread, notions, rulers and tools.  There will also be a Boutique Booth for new craft items the Guild members have made.

     Tickets for the 2026 Quilt Raffle, Delectable Mountain Star, will be available.    The quilt pattern is based on the Halo Medallion designed by Susan H. Garman. The raffle will be drawn on Wednesday, May 27, 2026. The tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5 and available from any Guild member.

     The Decatur Quilters Guild is a not-for-profit organization made up of quilters who enjoy sharing their love of quilting.  Their mission is to preserve, educate, promote and share in the art of Quilting.  The Guild donates charity quilts and neck pillows to veterans’ organizations, CASA, hospice and cancer care units within Macon County.  They meet the second and fourth Wednesdays at 10 a.m. at Grace Baptist Church, 3770 N. Water St., Decatur.
