Decatur Park District to proudly present the B.O.S.S. programs rendition of Honk Jr. and Dr. Dolittle Jr.

 

 

 

 

DECATUR, IL – Walk, waddle, and wag into the Arts, live at the Devon Lakeshore Amphitheater on July 21st and 22nd with the Decatur Park District as they proudly present the B.O.S.S. programs rendition of Honk Jr. and Dr. Dolittle Jr.. The shows will take place as a triple feature with a special performance by Heart and Soul: On Stage, a group for individuals with special needs, who will be performing Summer Camp. Performances begin at 6 p.m. both nights with a short intermission between each performance.

“The Decatur Park District ARTS is excited to bring live theatre to the Devon Lakeshore Amphitheater.  Beloved “tails” old and new will be brought to life by 3 different performing ensembles in our triple feature performance that will leave audiences with a great message and hours of entertainment.  Over 150 performers have been rehearsing for the last 6 weeks to bring these stories to life.  It has been so much fun watching all these talented performers grow and bring the ARTS to life this summer.” Cultural Arts Manager, Megan Dickerson said.
