Decatur Park District Fan Drive At Walmart North May 15

DECATUR, IL – In an effort to help community members stay cool and safe during the warmer months, a Fan Drive will be held at Walmart North on Friday, May 15, from 9:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Community members are encouraged to donate new box fans during this time.
     Donations will also be accepted at the Scovill Park West Activity Center following the fan drive. Both physical fans and monetary contributions can be dropped off there at any time after the event, supporting ongoing distribution efforts.
     The collected fans will be distributed beginning Monday, May 18, ensuring that those in need receive relief from the heat promptly.
