Bethal Miles Is New Morning Anchor for NewsChannel 20 Sunrise and FOX Illinois Sunrise

     WICS and WRSP are excited to welcome its new Morning Anchor, Bethal Miles, to the team. Bethal will co-anchor NewsChannel 20 Sunrise from 5–7 a.m. and FOX Illinois Sunrise from 7–9 a.m., delivering local news to Central Illinois each weekday morning.
     “I’m incredibly grateful to be returning closer to home and serving the state I grew up in,” said Bethal. “My excitement for journalism comes from a genuine love of storytelling and bringing an authentic perspective to the communities I serve.”
     A Chicago native, Bethal returns to Illinois with a strong background in journalism and a passion for connecting with local communities.
     A lifelong Chicago Bears fan, he grew up watching WGN, which first inspired his love for local news and storytelling, and he looks forward to engaging with viewers across Central Illinois each morning.
