SEVEN-TIME GRAMMY AWARD WINNER GLADYS KNIGHT BRINGS LEGENDARY SOUND TO STATE FARM CENTER 

Champaign, IL — The State Farm Center is proud to welcome legendary vocalist Gladys Knight for her first-ever performance at State Farm Center with “An Evening with Gladys Knight” on Thursday, August 7,2026 at 7:30 p.m. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets start at $51.50, with the State Farm Center Insiders presale running April 8 at 10:00 a.m. through April 9 at 10:00 p.m. (CT). Additional ticketing details will be available through the State Farm Center box office and official website.

The great ones endure, and Gladys Knight has long been one of the greatest. Very few singers over the last sixty years have matched her unassailable artistry. This seven-time GRAMMY Award winner has enjoyed #1 hits in Pop, Gospel, R&B, and Adult Contemporary, and has triumphed in film, television, and live performance.

All told, Knight has recorded more than 38 albums over the years, including four solo albums: “Good Woman” (1991); “Just for You” (1994); the inspirational “Many Different Roads” (1999); and “At Last” (2001). “At Last” showed the world that she still has what it takes to record a hit album, employing the talents of contemporary producers like Randy Jackson.

Knight has continued to expand her career across television and film, including appearances in FOX’s “Star”, the film “Almost Christmas”, and ABC’s “Dancing With The Stars.” She competed on the inaugural season of “The Masked Singer” and delivered unforgettable national anthem performances at both Super Bowl LIII and the 2021 NBA All-Star Game.

During the 2022 holiday season, she starred in “I’m Glad It’s Christmas” on Great American Family and received the 45th Kennedy Center Honors for Lifetime Artistic Achievements. She also received the National Medal of Arts and is recognized as a 2024 GRAMMY Lifetime Achievement Award Honoree.

Her involvement in creative endeavors, business ventures, and humanitarian activities has been extensive, earning recognition from both the entertainment industry and communities nationwide. In 2015, a portion of Atlanta’s State Route 9 from Peachtree Street to 14th Street was officially named Gladys Knight Highway in her honor.
