INVESIGATION CONCLUDES THAT DEATHS OF FORSYTH COUPLE WERE HOMICIDE/SUICIDE

FORSYTH – The Macon County Sheriff’s Office has completed their investigation into the deaths of Dr. William Frame and Lorie Frame. The Frame’s were found deceased in the Forsyth home on June 2, 2025. On that date deputies were called to the residence after family and friends became concerned about their whereabouts. Sheriff’s Deputies made entry into the residence and located William and Lorie in a bathroom off the main bedroom. Both appeared to have been shot with a firearm.
After an extensive investigation and elimination of all potential persons of interest though forensic evidence, cellular phone examinations, and interviews, the Sheriff’s Office has completed and closed the investigation. Evidence showed that William Frame shot Lorie and then took his own life with the same firearm.
Macon County Coroner Michael Burkham has officially ruled the cause of death as a homicide/suicide.
