DECATUR, IL – Republican State Representative Regan Deering announced her re-election campaign today, pledging to continue her fight for common sense when leading Illinois into the future.
“I’m running for re-election to fight for working people, restore educational excellence, demand fiscal sanity, and defend the values and dignity of Central Illinois families,” said Deering. “If you’re fed up with high prices, woke nonsense, broken schools, and politicians who care more about power than results, I’m your candidate.”
As a freshman legislator, Deering has emerged as one of the most courageous and effective conservative voices in the General Assembly. She has gone toe-to-toe with the far-left radicals in the Democrat Party and called out Governor Pritzker in the legislature, the media, and communities across the state.
A former educator and small businesswoman, she has fought to empower parents in education, expand career and technical training, and protect tax dollars from waste, fraud, and far-left pet projects.
She has also stood strong against reckless state spending, exposing how billions are being funneled to non-citizens while essential services like DCFS and education continue to fail Illinois families. Her first bill was to protect the privacy, dignity, and dreams of girls in sports.
“Illinois is an amazing place to raise a family and build a life. As a mom of three, I care about creating a bright future, standing up for our values, and taking the fight to the radical elements destroying our way of life,” explained Deering. “Today, our state is in crisis because the politicians in charge are failing, spending billions on programs that don’t work and on priorities that don’t match ours. That’s not compassion. That’s failure. And I won’t stop fighting until every family in our region gets the opportunities and respect they deserve.”
Deering, a proud conservative and mother of three, has also championed rebuilding manufacturing in Central Illinois, school choice, and public safety policies that put communities first, not criminals.
