Macon County Clerk Josh Tanner Will Not Seek Reelection

     Macon County Clerk Josh Tanner announced today (April 23) that he will not seek a third term in the 2026 General Primary.

     “It has been an honor and a privilege to serve Macon County as the County Clerk” said Tanner.

     Tanner began with Macon County in 2008 as a GIS Specialist and served in that position until being appointed the Supervisor of Assessments in 2013. He was first elected as Macon County Clerk in 2018 and then re-elected in 2022.
