Decatur’s Call to Action for Veterans, Seniors, Families, and Workers
Decatur, IL – This May 1st, community leaders, advocates, and neighbors will gather for the MAYDAY! MAYDAY! Rally for Clarity and Justice at Fairview Park in Decatur. From 5:00–7:00 p.m., join speakers and artists near the Macon County Union Veteran’s War of the Rebellion Monument to demand action on today’s most pressing issues — from veterans’ rights and union labor, to autism research and protecting youth.
Hosted by longtime community advocates Doris McKay and Bev Ritter, the evening will feature a lineup of speakers representing a wide range of causes close to the hearts of Midwestern families and workers.
