Decatur Rotary Club 180 Announces $5,500 in Grants to Seven Local Nonprofits
Macon County – Decatur Rotary Club 180 announces $5,500 in grant funding to benefit youth programs of eight local nonprofits. This funding is made possible through the Rotary Community Grants program.
2023 Rotary Community Grant recipients:
· Decatur Parks Foundation – $1500
· Decatur Family YMCA – $1000
· American Red Cross – $1000
· Decatur Area Arts Council – $500
· Sista Girls & Friends – $500
· Girl Scouts of Central Illinois – $500
· The Salvation Army of Decatur & Macon County- $500
“Rotarians give and serve, and through their generosity, they are making a different locally and globally,” says Decatur Rotary Club #180 President, Tim Sadler. “Our annual community grants program is one of many ways we get to partner with other organizations that are making a difference here in Decatur and Macon County.”
The purpose of the Rotary Community Grants program is to support activities and programs that will have a beneficial impact and improve the quality of life of youth in the Decatur community.
