Community Healing Fair To Take Place April 27
A Community Healing Fair will take place on April 27, 2022 in recognition of National Crime Victims’ Rights Week (NCVRW), April 24-30, 2022 at Old Kings Orchard Community Center from 2:00-6:00. The is a collaborative event, organized by Macon County HEALS, Old Kings Orchard Community Center, Baby Talk, Empowerment Opportunity Center, United Way, and MRI Kids/Bright Start. In addition, the free event is being sponsored by Decatur Memorial Hospital and HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital. The Community Healing Fair provides the opportunity to highlight many of the social service organizations that work with victims of crime within our community in a fun and inviting atmosphere where families will have the opportunity to interact with the organizations through games and activities. In addition, there will be animals from Scovill Zoo, a bounce house, a DJ, food catered by Good Samaritan Inn, and door prizes!
