ELECTION JUDGES NEEDED FOR MARCH 17, 2026 GENERAL PRIMARY ELECTION

     Macon County is in need of Republican election judges for the March 17, 2026 General Primary Election.  If you would like to become an election judge, please contact the Macon County Clerk’s Office at 217-424-1305 as soon as possible.

     Election judges must:

     • Be registered to vote

  • Attend a two hour training prior to Election Day
  • Set the polling place up Monday before Election Day
  • Work all day (approximately 5:00 a.m. until after polls close at 7:00 p.m. and ballots have been returned to the County Clerk’s Office) on Election Day
  • Election Judges are appointed for a two-year term
  • Election Judge pay is $200.
