Three Community Organizations Partner To Give Back

     Three not-for-profits organizations are working together to serve the Decatur Community during the Serve One Weekend event hosted by Tabernacle Baptist Church. The organizations will hold a joint press conference at 1654 W Leafland on Saturday, September 28th at 10:00 AM.
Serve One Weekend is organized by Tabernacle Baptist Church. The Church’s mission is to help its members give back to the community through service projects. On September 27th and 28th, volunteers will install 8 wheelchair ramps for residents in need.
     Northeast Community Fund supported this weekend of service by identifying residents in need of wheelchair ramps.
     Block by Block also supported the project by providing 50% of funding for wheelchair ramp installations.
