FOX Illinois Welcomes Melodi Hankins as New Evening Anchor

     Springfield. IL. – FOX Illinois is proud to announce that Melodi Hankins has joined WRSP as its new evening anchor. Viewers can watch Melodi on FOX Illinois News at 5:30 and beginning next week on FOX Illinois News at 9.
     With a strong passion for storytelling and connecting with people, Melodi is excited to continue growing her career in journalism while serving the Springfield community. She is committed to reporting stories that reflect real experiences, highlight diverse voices, and inform the public with authenticity and purpose.
     “I’m looking forward to growing as a journalist while connecting with viewers and sharing the stories that shape Springfield. This is an incredible first step in my career, and I’m proud to call Springfield my new home on and off the air,” said Melodi Hankins.
     Melodi Hankins is from California and a graduate from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona.
