Decatur MacArthur Class Of 1964 To Witness Presentation Of Check To Doug Hagen Scholarship Fund

     Classmates of the Decatur MacArthur Class of 1964 will be gathering at the front entrance of the school building on Friday, September 15 at 10:00 a.m. to witness the presentation of a check to the Doug Hagen Scholarship Fund in memory of their classmate. The presentation will take place in front of Doug’s memorial plaque hanging on the wall to the left before entering the building.
     The annual $500 scholarship is intended to contribute toward the educational expenses of a graduating senior of MacArthur High School who will be attending a college or university. The scholarship recipient must have been a participant in student leadership. Additional preference will be made for students who have some connection to military service, either a family member who served, or the student participated in a reserve program or ROTC.
     Classmates or friends who wish to make a donation can write a check made out to DPS 61 Foundation and write Doug Hagen Scholarship Fund in the memo. Checks should be mailed to DPS Foundation Attn: Hagen Fund, 101 West Cerro Gordo, Decatur IL 62523
All interested class members, graduates from other classes and schools, friend, and interested parties are welcome to attend.
