Mid-Summer Moon Productions hosts open auditions for Willy Wonka

OREANA, IL- Mid-Summer Moon Productions will host open auditions for its fall musical, Willy Wonka from 6 to 9 p.m. on June 26 and June 27 at the Oreana Baptist Church, 107 W. Bower St., in Oreana. June 29 will be reserved for callbacks. All ages are welcome to audition.

Actors should come prepared to sing sixteen bars of a song and perform a memorized poem or monologue. There will also be a short choreography segment taught, so comfortable clothing and shoes should be worn for the audition. No pianist will be available at auditions, but performers may use recorded accompaniment or sing a capella.

Willy Wonka will be September 15-17 at the Decatur Civic Center. Ticket information will be available in August on the Mid-Summer Moon Productions facebook page or by calling 217-791-2658.
