MACON COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT COVID-19 UPDATE
As stated in our most recent report, beginning in November, the Macon County Health Department is transitioning to monthly COVID-19 case reporting. With this change, we will be reporting the total number of cases from the previous month on the second business day of each month. We made this decision based on a number of factors, including COVID-19 information and case reporting being readily available on the CDC and IDPH.
Below are remaining case totals for October. These numbers represent October 27-31, 2022.
