Tate Joins Memorial Care in Forsyth

Dr. Margaret Tate
DECATUR – Dr. Margaret Tate has started practicing family medicine with Memorial Care in Forsyth.
Tate earned her doctor of osteopathy degree from A.T. Still University’s Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri, in 2017. She earned her master’s degree in biomedical science with an emphasis in clinical research from A.T. Still University in 2015. She received her bachelor’s degree from Millikin University in Decatur in 2012.
“I see everyone from birth to the elderly, and everyone in-between,” said Tate. “My approach to care involves shared decision-making. I meet my patients where they are, and I do this by fully explaining everything about a diagnosis so a patient can feel informed and confident to make decisions about their care plan.”
Tate grew up in Taylorville and members of her family still live in the Taylorville and Decatur areas, she said, “so I’m grateful to have the opportunity to provide health care to this community.”
Tate is scheduling new patients at Memorial Care in Forsyth, 241 W. Weaver Road, Forsyth. To schedule an appointment, call 217-876-5220.

So proud of my beautiful daughter. She is so excited about her new job. The people she has met with Menorial Health have been so warm and welcoming to her. Looking forward to her next chapter of her life.
Congratulations to Dr. Tate. She will be a great contributor to expert care given at Decatur Memorial.
