Schedule Change for Lake Decatur Boat Gas Sales

 

 

 

 

 

Decatur, IL – The City of Decatur will temporarily stop selling gas starting Monday, August 15, at the Lake Office next to the Nelson Park boat ramps due to a labor shortage.

Gas sales will resume for Labor Day weekend on Saturday, September 3, and will end for the season on Monday, September 5. Some staff members are heading back to college, causing the need to suspend sales for a few weeks.

Boat gas will be available on the following days during Labor Day weekend, weather dependent:

• Saturday, September 3 9:30 am to 6:00 pm
• Sunday, September 4 9:30 am to 6:00 pm
• Monday, September 5 9:30 am to 6:00 pm
