Darren Bailey Releases Statement on Pritzker Visiting Washington, D.C. Instead of Working in Springfield

Louisville, IL – Republican nominee for governor and State Senator Darren Bailey has called for special sessions to address rising crime, inflation, mental health issues, and taxes in Illinois. Unfortunately, instead of acting swiftly to address these issues, Pritzker is again running from his failures to enforce current laws and his pro-criminal agenda that puts Illinois families and jobs in jeopardy to campaign for president in Washington, D.C. Darren Bailey released the following statement:

“J.B. Pritzker is in D.C. hobnobbing with his elite friends when he should be home answering for his soft on crime bills, like the no cash bail and the so-called SAFE-T Act. This morning six men were in a shootout in the South Loop, which is starting to look like the O.K. Corral. Families and jobs are fleeing daily due to rising crime and taxes. This is all on your watch, Pritzker. Stop running for president, J.B., and do your job. It’s time to provide relief, catch criminals and keep families safe. Lives depend on it.”

Darrin Bailey needs to address the gun issues involved with the crimes.

Thanks for keeping your eye on the ball.
Pritzker is not doing that, he’s not working for Illinois.

Pritzker is a joke, always has been.
There’s a reason why people are leaving Demonrat states. Rural communities are drug ridden cesspool when they were once really nice communities. I’m pretty sure Darren Bailey came through Ramsey and spoke with the new mayor but maybe he should come back and type this area with a local person who isn’t on the wealthy side of life and actually witness forest hand some of the things wrong. Besides what the local government people say. WE THE PEOPLE ARE VERY TIRED OF THE PROPAGANDA AND PROMISES.WE ARE FED UP.
      TIME FOR SERIOUS CHANGES

People leaving Illinois turned out to be a lie as well as other blue states. That’s what happens when you put a crooked Administration in power over a census. Anyone with a brain knew the results would be rigged to show blue states where losing population. Guess what it was true.

As for rural communities being drug riden cess pools. You’re correct. And that is what happens when people don’t focus on education and never look beyond their little town and get caught up in the only thing readily available. Alcohol and drugs

Eye on the ball? Pritzker has righted the ship fiscally in Illinois. He’s erased the terrible four years of Rauner who cost us millions. Bailey has no clue how to run a state and would only destroy the progress made to dig us out of a fiscal mess.

@ Joan, Bailey has as much of an idea of what’s going on in the state as you do. That’s to say no idea whatsoever. Bailey is trying to make a completely useless point. Is he implying that there is some kind of emergency in Illinois? Because, you know, there isn’t. And what do Republicans (e.g., Gianforte, Cruz) typically do during an emergency? They flee for vacation. Nice try.

Be specific Mr. Bailey. What are your specific plans to reduce gun violence? Don’t just tell us you’ll do it. How will you do it?

    As far as Him violence….
Why doesn’t everyone put there focus on the guns that are in the hands of people who doesn’t get their guns legally???
Put the focus where it really needs to be and take them away from all the people who have them illegally . I lived in Chicago for years and do many of the people who are in hands jump children in and then use the kids on bikes to keep their guns for them while they’re out in the streets. Reason for this is, a teen on a bike can get away easier and worth the incriminating evidence and if the term gets caught they get less of a penalty than the lil banger punk who stashed the gun on the kid.
To many illegally gotten guns in cities. Not enough legal gun owners.

    1. What will Mr. Bailey do to continue paying Illinois’ bills on time?
    2. Does Mr. Bailey have enough influence over the State Board of Education to advise them how to use state and federal funds to the advantage of downstate communities?
    3. Mr. Bailey is a farmer. Good. We need more farmers. What is he actively doing, right now, to encourage young and older aspiring farmers?
    4. How will Mr. Bailey work with federal, state and local governments to find ways to help farmers out of the vicious circle of borrowing against crops not yet harvested to pay off prior loans?
    5. Will Mr. Bailey address the shortage of young, black, brown and immigrant farmers? These groups are often experienced farmers used to harsh climate and growing conditions.
    6. Has Mr Bailey taken a critically objective look at how water is conserved in our state and, how he can work cooperatively with neighbouring states to preserve fresh water sources?
    6. Has Mr. Bailey addressed how to provide job training, education and
community involvement opportunities to combat drug and alcohol abuse?
These are the questions which need sensible answers if he is going to be the better candidate for governor. Citizens of Illinois are tired of the babble and blabber. Show me results.
