The Illinois Supreme Court recently appointed Judge R.C. Bollinger of Macon County as Chair of its Committee on Judicial Education (COJE).
Judge Bollinger, who presides in the 6th Judicial Circuit Court of Illinois, has served on the committee for six years, most recently serving as Vice-Chair of COJE.
“It is an honor to have received this appointment and I thank the Illinois Supreme Court for the opportunity,” Bollinger said. “I look forward to continuing my work alongside my colleagues on the committee to help educate our fellow judges throughout the state.”
COJE is one of six committees comprising the Illinois Judicial College and 28 active members responsible for the ongoing development and delivery of comprehensive continuing education for judges throughout the State of Illinois in keeping up with changes involving legal issues and new rules that apply to the law and impact the judiciary.
