At the time this week’s print edition of the Decatur Tribune went to press, the time for the Mount Zion at Joliet Catholic second round playoff game had not been set.
It has now with the Braves and Joliet Catholic kicking off at 2:00 p.m. Saturday.
Other kickoff times for Decatur and Macon County teams follow:
Tuscola at St. Teresa 1 p.m.
     Fisher at Central A&M 1 p.m.
     Carrollton at Argenta-Oreana 1 p.m.
     Maroa-Forsyth at Auburn, 1:30 p.m.
For complete coverage of these Saturday games turn to next week’s print edition of the Decatur Tribune.
By the way girls basketball practices started Monday, Nov. 4, and the boys begin official practices this coming Monday, Veterans Day, Nov. 11.
Transition time is here and I already have the 123 schools the Decatur Tribune covers ready to go for our prep basketball edition, Nov. 27, which will be in our subscribers’ homes the day after Thanksgiving, Nov. 29.
There will be five new coaches courtside this year with Shannon Houser at Meridian, Tim Yeakley at Decatur Christian, Dale Schuring at Mount Zion, Nick Viele at Sangamon Valley and Aaron Ennis at Maroa-Forsyth.
