Craig Bundy is the new assistant coach at MacArthur after the Decatur School Board tonight (Tuesday) approved his hiring.
Bundy resigned as Decatur LSA’s head coach at the end of this season after five years.
In an interview with the Decatur Tribune, shortly after he resigned, Bundy said he was not done coaching, only as a head coach.
With his hiring, Derek Spates just strengthened his staff and puts the onus on the Eisenhower administration and the Keil Building to move quickly in hiring someone to replace Curtis Graham, who was told he would not be recommended for rehire and that he could either resign or be fired.
I will have more on this developing story in a future print edition of the Decatur Tribune.
